Where's the 2017 Simcoe Hops?

Don't have an answer to your question but I am also interested in when this years crop will be available.

 

Not sure if they are affected but I heard that some of the bigger hop producers had a hard year due to heat and stuff. Perhaps... there is none

 

I've seen some simcoe wet hopped beers this year so it does exists.

I sent an email to Yakima and they said they don't have a set release date on this years simcoe.

 

Doubt if pellets would be available for almost any variety yet.

 

They start pelletizing in early September. Centennial is on of the earliest harvests, late August. Simcoe is harvested at the beginning of September. Warrior is about the last one harvested. YVH has Warrior pellets for sale. No idea what is up with the Simcoe.

 

I'm sure contracts get filled first...leaving the homebrewer with 2016 Simcoe for awhile

 

Some of the big supply houses for the LHBS have contracts, but I don’t know what is available.

Freshops has whole Simcoe.
