Where's the Yeungling Draft?

    No problem finding Yeungling bottles and cans in the stores in South FL, been giving the tall boys a workout lately. Finding the stuff on draft in the bars has been another story. Four different bars in last 10 days, no Yeungling on draft. Problems in brewing, or distribution, what gives? The subtitutions are going down tbe hatch nicely, downing a good bit of SA Summer Ale, but is something amiss?

    COVID has kept me out of anyplace having Yuengling on tap, so dunno about kegs. Maybe they shifted production to meet the demand for smaller containers?

    nevermind. I need to read better. Their beer finder on their website shows that the lager is available on tap at bars in Tallahassee right now. It doesn’t list any other areas. You can call the brewery and ask them. 570-628-4890

    Brewing, like just about every other business, has really been hit hard by this shut down, if you were not aware. That means breweries suddenly found themselves sitting on a few gazzilion barrels of beer with no place to call home. It's the technical industry jargon but true.

    So yeah, a Pandemic will disrupt established supply chains. Especially when the YG Florida brewery is not just making the stuff for the local marketplace. There is a big ripple effect going on here that will take many months to fix. Truthfully, many reliable outlets will not recover at all. t it's not just Vitamin Y, pretty much every brewer is caught with their shorts around their ankles. Stay tuned.

    Meantime, enjoy it if you can get it.

    My local just ran out of in-code keg Straub and Yuengling not long ago. Production will ramp up eventually. Til' then, enjoy anything fresh you can find.

    NC is overrun with Yuengling on tap. I’d guess it’s pushed out beers like Bud and Miller. The light beer thing on the above are everywhere, but I’d bet I couldn’t find a beer with Bud Or Miller High Life. I’d bet my house on Yuengling, they made a concerted effort to hit the Carolinas.

    Bwahaha, finding Bud and Bud Light on draft everywhere here, lest the local yokels start rioting. But as I mentioned in the OP, SA is hitting it out of the park, and with the heat down here those Summer Ales are going down very well.

    As a follow-up, didn't feel like cooking dinner, so Sent to my local for a plate of wings. Saw the Yeungling tap handle on the line and was told "yeah" when I asked.

    Been drinking Yeungling tall boys at home, but God, so much the better!

    I wish I could trade the amount of Yueng we have in WV for something down there!
