Anything Saranac. I should not have cheaped out on that variety case.

@sajaffe1 - Not sure if available down there but the high peaks line is worth a try from Saranac.

Cognac Cake was extremely disappointing, unfortunately.

Dragontrax... super hyped b1, never tried it. Was able to trade for b2 and it was a complete letdown.

Pliny the Elder was the one for me.

Grapefruit Sculpin. I mean, I like it, but it's not worth $15.

Maine Beer Company's MO and Peeper stick out as the biggest let down -- watered down fruit juice ain't my thing. Lunch was better, but still didn't live up to the hype.

I agree with others that Tank 7 didn't come close to the build-up in my head. Have had a great many better saisons. Same deal with KBS.

Pliny the Elder and Westy 12 are AMAZING. Never had "real" Alpine, but I'm a big fan of the Nelson and Pure Hoppiness now available.

No Rules. I really was looking forward to it, based on everything I've heard/read. Just didn't do it for me. I didn't taste any of the coconut in the bottle I drank, and it kind of had a flat/stale feel to it that I wasn't a fan of at all.

Oddly, I drank most of it then re-capped it. Went to pour it out 2 days later, since I didn't drink it the following night, and realized it was really carbonated. So, I drank the rest of it and liked it a bit more. But, just kind of tasted like a not that great BA stout to me.

That's part of the appeal.
And Founders Imperial Stout is even thicker.

Also, everything by Maine (except Dinner which was amazing). Lunch is a great IPA but nothing special.

Just about every sour I've tried.

I may be exaggerating a bit, I do really enjoy a number of Jolly Pumpkin's offerings, but for the most part, this is one hype train I haven't completely boarded.

Also, SN: Celebration Ale. Don't get me wrong, I do like it, but I thought it was going to be more flavorful.

Oskar Blues Ten Fidy. It was good, I enjoyed it and will buy it again, but its reputation and the high price led me to expect something much more special.

Chocolate Rain was the one for me. I should probably give it another try, but the one I did try was extremely boozy.

Pliny the Younger. No trolling here either, I was able to get it two years in a row and it was all hype. Being able to get Notorious from Boneyard easily really sealed the deal for me. PtY was super boozy, unbalanced, and the hops were muddled. There are quite a few more, but this one really sticks out.

I agree with Mr. Bluehende. BP Sculpin finally made it to my town. Bought a sixer for $14.99. Never again! There are way too many beers that are as tasty to me, and a lot less expensive.
