I'll put it this way, the highest regarded Ohio brewery I haven't tried is Jackie-O's. (that's easier than figuring out what the great breweries from the west coast I might have missed are) To be fair, I can get to Grand Rapids or Chicago in less time than the drive to Athens would be from here.

Cigar City, Russian riRver, and New Belgian are the first that come to mind and I would love to try some fresh pilsner Urquell. I feel so empty.

Well Snow is huge in China. For some facts, Kuhnhenn was most likely over 2000 bbls for 2012. Big indeed!

I hope they grow more. But here on Ba breweries are often conflated to enormous size in the minds of the Ba's.Founders or FFF are examples.

The Bruery. We get plenty of it here but I just never pull the trigger. Any suggestions for a beginning dive into them?

New BA definition of a "Big Brewery":

Any brewery with a yearly barrelage greater than the quantity of beer any most BA's normally consume in a year.

(Not to be confused with the Brewers Association's "Large Brewer" = 6m bbl and up)

If you pull the trigger, go for one of their big beers which are very good. Their everyday sessionable beers are just meh.

Living in SE Pennsylvania, there's not much we don't get with our distribution. The only breweries I'm jonesing for are:

New Glarus (being a lager lover)
    Jack's Abby (see above)
    Odell (heard great things)
Alchemist (came within a few hours of a Heady Topper can)
