    "I will be pouring beer at a beer fest in Texas (Katy Wild West) and "I" the organizer asked me to tell him at which brewery I would like to be stationed".

    If you're the organizer and you're having a conversation with yourself ... assuming that's a typo and you're not schizo ( :slight_smile: :rolling_eyes: ); do you have to be stuck in the same booth for the entire session? Can you rotate?

    Will there not be any actual Rep's from the breweries present? People who are well versed in their product?

    Seems more likely that is a bartender position.

    Exactly! Will brewery reps be available to answer questions? Which products can you talk about with at least a little knowledge? You will be asked questions about the beer and the brewery, at least in my experience. The thing I hate most about beer fests is asking the server a question and getting "I don't know, I'm just a volunteer" as the most common answer.

    You didn't say if you can or can't, but if you can't sample while working, then I'd pick the brewery that you think has the worst beers. All of them on your list would be too much of a temptation for me.

    FW, only because I can't get it here, Founders is a close second, because I love their beer...I poured for 3 years at the SummerTime Brews Fest in Greensboro...I never got to pick, I was assigned...still loved it

    If you can't go with a Texas brewery like Saint Arnold, Karbach, Real Ale, etc, I would go with FW. Drink Pivo all day, mixed in with whatever else they happen to bring :slight_smile:

    Depends on what you are pouring, but I'd have to go either FW or Founders.
