Which Forum posts appear on the home page?

    Just created a new Mid-Atlantic forum post. It doesn't appear on the home page. Wondering which ones do/don't and what governs this?

    After the change over of the site, I think that the only forum posts that show up on your front page is the beer talk forum. If I am remembering correctly, the previous incarnation of the site (pre-meltdown), the forum posts that you would see on the front page were a combination of the latest posts of forums that you signed up for. Hence, on the old BA site, you would have seen your post and now you will not, unless you go to forums and then find the forum to which you posted.

    Actually, it's all forums that fall under General and BA Talk. We initially displayed threads from all forums, but some complained that they were seeing a lot of threads that were of no interest to them. What's New? will show you all.

    We might look at ways to customize the view during the site redesign.

    I agree that the post shown probably have the greatest appeal...rather than everything from every regional forum plus all of the trading posts.

    I guess it would be kind of cool if it was everything that is there today and perhaps the ability to register for a/some regional forum(s).
