Which is better drinking habit?

I would just buy bombers. Than 3 per day isn't so bad.

Yes, just to be in shape for another week fest of alcohol. I would love to be able to do this, but i would passed out for a whole week.

 

Two a day sounds like a good plan, a double ipa first, then after dinner, a Rasputin imperial or some combination like that.

 

Twenty-one beers per week? Wow! I drink heavy beers, that would be a lot of alcohol for me. I can't afford to drink a lot during the week, not to say that I drink any more on the weekend either though. That's probably because I am older and don't pound like I did in my younger years. I appreciate the better beer and drink quality over quantity.

On Fridays we usually go to a Happy Hour at a pub, and I might have more than my usual two beers, but I don't normally have more than three - I still have to be able to drive home.

 

Or some pretzels? to go with your beer?

 

I believe what you are saying is that if one is enjoying a beverage and goes beyond the legal limit, it is not the same as intentionally drinking to get drunk. With that, I agree, as it is difficult to drink some of the bigger, high ABV, beers and not go a bit over the legal limit. It is not that one is intentionally trying to get drunk, it's that it is practically impossible to sip some slow enough and still finish it in a reasonable period of time. I do love my imperials, and occasionally I will join my wife with a Barley Wine, not my favorite style, but I do enjoy them once in a while.

 

I would spread them out over the week. 21 is more than I usually drink in a week, but I drink 1 or 2 a day.

 

For me, it may sound horrible, but my work schedule allows me to drink 5+ beers a night because as long as im asleep by 2-3 am (work 3pm to 11 pm) get up at 12pm is fine or so i tell myself haha. I dont do it any longer because regardless you feel terrible. So now my week is 1-3 a night during week and pretty much as many as I'd want on weekends but my danger zone is 6+ after that im a complete useless mess

What is a weekend? Fri, Sat, Sun are the busiest days in a Chefs life so I take it fairly easy most of the time. I try to have about 2 beers a day .

 

I Really never count my Beer's,I Just make sure the Bills are Paid on time,I am Never Late for work,everything that needs to be done around the house is taken care of,and do not need to Drive anyplace -then it is Beer thirty,also on the weekend,I Look forward to my NASCAR,F1,Prototype road/track Racing on my beloved 50 inch Sony ultra HDTV-With all the things that can Kill yer ass Dead in this world,"Beer" is the least of my worries,having only 21 beers a week would be my HELL-[the horror..the horror]
