which stout for brownies?

Are you using the beer in place of water/other liquid or just wanting to add a little?

This is a great recipe. Instead of bittersweet chocolate we add more/different chocolate chips.

If you can get any or have any I would try some Bourbon County Brand Stout

 

What about Choklat from Southern Tier? I think that might work too!

 

I've used DuClaw Chocolate Peanut Butter Porter. It was delicious.

 

id avoid the hoppy imperials. the chocolate stout sounds like it would work!

 

This is perhaps the first time I've disagreed with something UCLABrewN has said on this site! Hop flavor would be reminiscent of that other herbal flavor I do so love in brownies.

 

Man all these are making me crave brownies
