Which Stout Should I Serve?

If you think he will like his stouts on the sweeter side, then I would go 2013 BCBS. If he would prefer a more coffee forward, balanced stout (like myself), then I would go Parabola.

 

Too late on this, but I personally would say either both 2013/2014 BCBS or Parabola, considering the volume differences.

 

Prior to now the only 13.8 batch I had was from August. Having just started drinking an October 13.8 batch about twenty minutes ago I would say yes, that would have been my choice. Both 13.8 versions are better than the 14.4 version in my book.

Which did you end up choosing?

 

If you can only serve one, I'd go with Parabola....might be a bit better if you could find one with a year on it.

 

Hold the Parabola. It will taste way better in about 9 months to a year. Now if you had a Parabola 13 or older...

 

Agree, save some for yourself though.

 

Buy him a PBR 40oz and keep the great stouts for yourself!
