I love many types of beer, from Pale Lagers to IPA's to Russian Imperial Stouts but on nearly every retail shelf I've seen, there are only a handful of Weizenbocks and Gose beers to be found. How come brewers don't give them a go more often? I'm sure it has to do with sales and popularity but with so many IPA's out there, it would be nice to see more beers that stand out from the pack!

Munich Dunkels, without a doubt. Time for a resurgence in those.

Altbiers, Weizenbocks, Dunkelweizens, and Roggenbiers; the world needs more of them.

Mild. If more people tried it there would be a lot less macro lager brewed.Cheaper and tastier.

English mild ale. Got into them when I was in the UK. A couple of breweries in western North Carolina are doing them. Excellent. Awsome taste and mouth feel at around 3.9 - 4.2%. Perfect!

I strongly agree with brewing more of these British and German styles mentioned before. Especially ESB, I can drink a great one of those for days and days.

Wild ales aged in wine barrels
More barrel aging other than bourbon (cognac, tequila, rum, apple brandy)

Personally I just wish they brewed macro lite swill less often - switch that production capacity over to real beer!
We should form a mob and storm A-B Inbev in glorious revolution - retake the means of production for the proletariat! We can call ourselves the Peoples Beer Republic and promise to provide the masses with amazing beer year round... When sourcing, production issues and demand start to put pressure on our new commune of beer we will naturally compromise a bit so we can still meet the needs of the many, I mean after all, our beer would be already labelled as PBR :grinning::stuck_out_tongue:

California Common/Steam. In NY Barrier and Peekskill make great ones. But I haven't found anything comparable bottled unfortunately. (recently revisited Anchor but was very disappointed)
