I really like the Zwickel type beers too. There's not much of a selection around here other than Yokel, which is very good. At least it's a seasonal every summer.

I really like a good rauchbier, almost like drinking a good smoked sausage. They're few and far between, though.

Saison! and I'd love to at least try a Berliner weiss with woodruff.

Hoppy red ales/Red IPAs. My avatar is a prime example of what I want to find more often!

Old Ales and Weizenbocks. I'd also like to see more breweries attempt a Finnish Sahti.

More Baltic Porters. Poland satisfies me, but if they were more common in U.S breweries, i could die happy

Glad to see all the calls for English milds! But more specifically, I'd really like to see more English dark milds. Some excellent examples were made from the second runnings of big beers, so I don't know why every brewery isn't producing them.

I'm always bummed out when I can't find any Oktoberfest until next year.

Red and Amber ales - i differentiate them, they are similar but taste different. Troegs Hopback Amber vs Flying Fish Red Ale; both are some of my favorite brews but you can taste the difference in style.

Lager (Dortmunder, Helles) - clean and more malty than Pils. not quite as crisp (especially Dortmunders) as a Pils but can be a very well made brew.

IPAs. There's just too few that keep us BAs interested...

It is a Michigan only beer, but Plow Horse from Brewery Vivant is a good one to try. Everything they do is either Belgian or Belgian inspired versions of regular styles.
