not sure if they count as they were not that extremely sought after originally, but
I still have a 2010/2011 woodicus, about 100 bottles produced.
Also just drank two olde hickory bottles from 2012-2013 there was only 1 barrel of each.
Also recently had SA millennium and utopias b1 (thanks to a good friend)
Again, these weren't extremely demanded like some of the rare lambic on that list but I'm curious as to what some people think qualifies as a white whale, other than rarity alone.

Sam Samaniego, before he passed, would crack open a bottle all the time at Stuffed Sandwich. had the privilege to have some there. he bough a few cases of them before Rodenbach was acquired by Palm Brewery in 1998.

Samuel Adams Millennium. And if it's still out there it's selling for upwards of a thousand bucks. I'd happily trade half my cellar for a bottle.

This was checked in twice today on Untappd and 10 times this month. One check in was poured from a small vile.

Great White Whale list. Nice to know I've had a few and come close to a few others. The hunt is fun but can be exhausting and draining of your beer capital.

It's none of my business, you can obviously do whatever you like, but how good can this stuff be? A thousand bucks? Seriously? But whatever makes you happy. Good luck in your quest.

The Atlantic population of grey whales. Sorry, but the only whales I know have fins and blowholes.

That is the most impressive share I've ever seen based on pure rarity. How long had that share been in planning? It had to take awhile, right?

I've still got mine down in the cellar, waiting for... something. Dunno what. But waiting.

I have one that I wonder about. I guess it can be debated whether or not it's a 'whale', since I doubt anybody is seeking it, mostly because not very many people know about it. I still have a bottle of Bourbon Barrel Aged Abbey Ale from Ommegang. They did 192 bottles in 2010. Hasn't been checked in here since 2014. Can't be too many left.
