I made an insanely good lemongrass brett saison with a buddy one time. The one non sarcastic part of this post is that it really was amazing. That said, one of us spilled some barbacoa burrito in the mash ton, so I guess you could also call it a lemongrass burrito brett saison. Unfortunately we drank it all so now it's gone. This isn't entirely relevant but I know no one can drink it again.

Just for the record I have a few bottles of KTG in my beer cellar. From the last year you could just go up and get in line, Kate the Great day pre lottery. Was a great time. Met Todd and had lunch at the brewery with Kate on tap. A superb Beer Trekker memory.

Many many one of a kind collectables became 2 or 3 of a kind as the Internet started. Some pretty rare things became pretty common.

I would bet there are a lot of "whales" that might never get opened sitting in a cellar or the owner dies and these "Great" beers get tossed or opened and then drain poured by unknowing drinkers

Really tough to tell W/O a data base.

    Enjoy

Got to speak with Pete a few times. Loved the Beer. And he was very friendly. And I miss Pete's Wicked Ale.

...at the multi-million barrel Schlitz-built brewery then being operated by Stroh, which also was one of the largest shareholders of the "Pete's Brewing Co.", which, of course, never owned a brewery. ("Seattle" refers to the old Rainier plant that Stroh acquired when they bought Heileman in the mid-90s).

*Depending on the time frame, of course. The brand bounced from one contract brewer to next over it's history.
