Would like to spend lunch in Füssen after our walk to Neuschenstein Castle. Any recommendations for a local brewery or pub with good taps and local food?
There are a couple brewpubs in the vicinity, although I have never been to any of them, as the last time I was in the area was 20 plus years ago.. Schwangau, at the base of the castle area has the Neuschwansteiner Brewery and right next door, the Schloss Brauhaus Schwangau, which has a restaurant. Füssen has the Gasthof Weizenbrauerei Woaze, also with restaurant. Try at least one out and report on it!
A friend of mine says Restaurant Croatica - Kemptener Straße 31, Füssen, DE 87629 had pretty good food and decent Bier... Croatian and German specialties. He also mentioned Mission Bar.... unsure if it's part of the restaurant or a separate place.... Prost!
Not a pub/brewery but we had a lovely dinner at Gasthaus zum Schwanen in 2023. Kind of food courty, but some decent/inexpensive food and a bar with Augustiner and Konig Ludwig (maybe others) in bottles and draft
