    Forgot to mention this.

As mentioned in the article, it's a taproom only. They will continue to brew in Newman Lake and drive kegs into Spokane.

They're tapping a BBA RIS there tonight as part of Spokane Craft Beer Week. I'm thinking I'll stop by and check it out.

The imperial ipa is so damn good. Really pleasantly surprised with their beer.

Their Saison was pretty tasty as well. I think they'll be a nice addition to the "brewery district," maybe counteract Steel Barrel, which seems to be faltering a bit.

No 3-Way for you this year.

Interested what you think is faltering...

I find the service very inconsistent, and have heard others say the same. Also, rumors abound that Zona Blanca is pulling out, which if true will leave a gaping hole for those wanting food with their beverages. Plenty of people will turn around and walk right back out if no food is available.
Kinda bums me out, as I was quite enthusiastic about the place when it opened, but life's too short to sit at a bar and watch a thoroughly disorganized bartender ignore me sitting at the bar for 10 minutes while running in circles. Last time I was there I finally just gave up and walked to another establishment nearby with a similar number of employees on and a similar sized crowd, and had no problem getting served.

Appreciate the feedback. It's something we never shy away from. And I certainly apologize for any less than stellar service. It should always be first come first serve at the Bar.
As for those rumors about Zona, they are just that so hopefully that's not getting spread around too much. You're right though, food is important and we would make sure there was something to take Zona's place if it ever came to that.

Hope my previous reply didn't come off as too confrontational. For the most part, our online review and in-person feedback has been overwhelmingly positive so when I see anything negative I want to investigate.

And I appreciate the mature response. Not all business owners respond well to criticism! A certain Oregon brewery owner was calling out a negative reviewer on this site years ago who'd had the temerity to point out his beers were spoiled, demanding they apologize or violence would ensue, or something similarly ridiculous.
You don't have that problem, everything I've had I've enjoyed drinking.
