Dil_thebeerdrinking_do is correct, they check ID. Also, when you get your wrist band, yes you can wander away, but if you miss your number on the release line, then your SoL have to pick up a new wrist band (if any are left). I won't make the Saturday on line release, will be out in the wilderness that day, but will be there again for the bottle release line. I have a bad feeling my head will be throbbing from the Pints for Prostate event the night before.... Ugh.

 

If anyone gets in on the preorder and doesn't want all of their bottles send me a PM.

 

Anyone in the Triad not needing their full allotment, can you shoot me a BM? I'd like to get a couple bottles but not sure if I can get up the mountain the weekend to pick them up.

 

I'll be up there for Funk Asheville that weekend of the release. I will try to get an allotment this weekend. I'll let you know how it goes.

 

I'll also be in town the weekend after the release. If anyone gets extra bottles they want to sell/trade please let me know.

 

Its actually a mix of grapes. Locally harvested Muscadine and Scuppernog grapes as well as Albariño grape. This one is supposed to be the driest tasting of the Angel Series.

 

I know a number of people have asked but if anybody gets a case and would be willing to split it let me know real quick.

I would be happy to pay for a bottle for you or send a thank you box for splitting the case with me.

Did I just buy red angel? oops!

 

First time I'm able to make one of these releases, looking forward to it!

 

Does anybody have any tips on the release? (I'll be there Sat, July 18) Where to park? Good time to show up? Thanks.

 

plenty of parking on coxe and the surrounding streets. they'll be pouring everything as soon as they open but have tapped some special stuff later in the day for the last two releases. i'd try getting there around 2:30 or so.

 

So how long did this one last?

 

both allotment options were available for about an hour.

 

For Golden Angel they had Coolcumber, Imperial Coolcumber, Menage a freak. Those are the only ones I can think of off the top of my head. They were also pouring Red Angel all weekend.

 

Ménage was because of the weekends festival anyways.

Red angel was on. I suspect red and gold could be on for white maybe.

I saw the case allotments sell out somewhere between 1 and 2 minutes after 12PM. Did they add more at some point?

 

No. Probably just wasn't as popular. Probably most people won't be around or something of that nature.

Some could have put them in the cart and didn't buy. It expired.
