I've got a hankering for white chocolate. I'm drinking a deliciously malty red ale. I know that lactose won't mimic this flavor. Wheels are turning. I know that white chocolate contains some milk and a lot of fat. The shelf life of white chocolate is supposed to be up to a year. Is there anyway to make a white chocolate beer?
I'm hoping to avoid my first fat wash for this brew. *Fingers crossed.*

White chocolate is pretty much cocoa butter and vanilla. Because it is pure fat, cocoa butter isn’t something you want to add to a beer. So you could go lactose and vanilla or you could try a white chocolate flavoring syrup.

I agree. Figure out a way to make it taste like white chocolate, rather than actually using white chocolate.
