I hear instead of "honey ale" the White House press secretary is referring to it as a "bee regurgitated nectar ale."

There really is no place for that here. You may think what you want but we're all here to talk about beer.

Brewer in Chief. Just think, if Romney had won we'd be enjoying sarsaparilla right now.

Mikkeler tells someone else what to brew and is not involved in the actual process, but is regarded as one of the best brewers in the world. So, yeah.

Gypsy brewers actually compose the recipe and oversee the production, not just issue an executive order to brew some beer.

I've never met a homebrewer that doesn't brew their own beer, so, yeah, "homebrewer" is a misnomer. But I'll give him props for having a special beer brewed for the White House.

I love Obama, would love to try the beer! Better than David Cameron... I'm sure he once tried to make his own fine English Sparkling wine though and failed miserably.

Granted but most home brewers aren't the president of the united states or havve kitchen staff at their disposal. If I could have home brew and not have to do any cleaning or stirring or bottling I would. Plus bought the kit with his own money I assume he will take it with him and brew once out of office too at least I would.

Nobody accuses the head of a brewery of unrightfully claiming they made the beer even though in reality his/her employees are really the ones doing it. I don't see how this is different to be honest this isn't exactly brewed in your average "home".

    A) Again, the head brewer of a brewery oversees the entire brewing process, from recipes to obtaining ingredients, to supervising the brewing operations. He/she doesn't just say "brew this." And we're not talking about a commercial brewery, we're discussing homebrewing, that is, brewing your own beer at your residence.
    2. You seriously think the POTUS buys kitchen equipment out of his own pocket?
III. If he takes the brewing equipment with him when he leaves 1600 Pennsylvania Ave (which he would have to pay for) and starts homebrewing, I'll buy you a beer.
