White Labs Brett Claussenii - cell count

    I've heard that one vial of White Labs Brett C. contains just a measly 3 billion cells, is this correct? It hasn't been an easy answer to find on the internets...

    I've only built-up brett cultures from dregs in the past. Just wanna have a ballpark cell count, so I know where to start building from. 100% brett C berliner weisse in the making, so I wanna make sure I get anywhere between 100-150 billion cells before I pitch.

    That's the ballpark number I got from White Labs while I was researching American Sour Beers. I'll say though that the most recent tube I bought had a lot more material than they used to.
