White Oak IPA / Pale

    Thinking of brewing something similar to Jai Alai and using Honey Comb White Oak. I would prefer the ABV be in the 5.5%-6% range.

    Anyone with any experience using this product, or attempting something similar?

    My only lead is a comment made on either episode 6 or 7 of The Sour Hour where one of the guests shares his opinion on how white oaks lends a tropical flavor. But I'm not sure if that is in the presence of a non-sac fermentation. He was very adamant about it.
