Most BIFs are closed for international traders... that's why I asked. But if this would open up to international traders I would be very interested. I might not have enough trades though...

I'd be interested in joining round6

I might be up for this. I prefer single entrants to teams though.

Like I said, I will revisit the non-whale list and make adjustments accordingly. I think there are some on the list that have achieved whale status since last round.

This BIF will be open to international trading as long as we get a couple of willing candidates to ship out of the states. I will take into consideration those willing to send out of the states when setting up targets ( read the person that is chosen to send out of the states will be rewarded for having to send their package).

Soulforpeanuts was a unique case in that he had a location for senders to ship into the states.

Frank- your interest alone should draw some serious interest into the BIF.

These can be a lot of fun with the right participants. I'm hoping this can happen. It's difficult to find 20 people who care more about the box they put together than the one they receive.

I'm thinking that about ~14 participants for this round.

I really enjoyed the layout and restrictions from round 5. Too many participants in BIFs does tend to get messy, so I agree with Frank here. You do a great job running these BIFs Deacon...I'm sure it'll be fun like always(as long as we don't have anymore JD Blackbeerd pop-ups again) ;o)

I've got a non-JD Blackbeerd I'd love to unload on someone! Unfortunately I suspect WW6 would be a poor vehicle for that.

So are the rules gonna be the same as last round then? I know you said they may have some tweaks so i was wondering what the tweaks would be?

I would probably consider adjusting the length of the debutante whale rule so that the window is a little bit bigger. I would also consider doing the ante beers again. The addition of international traders as well. Those are the main ones I am considering. Again, recommendations are welcomed.

I've always liked the ante beer idea. Encourages everyone to be generous. I know last round didn't have it, but I focused my box as if I was putting out the best box I could. I'd rather put out a killer box then the one received. I don't like looking bad! ;o)

I think the voting aspect is what can make this thing contentious. It's all fun and games until people start voting. That's when feelings get hurt and people start acting like fools. I'd be against ante beers...but I'm in either way.

I think you and I know who acted the fool in that round. But I agree with your assessment. I will BM you to discuss further.

Someone sent me a BM asking about sending one growler as a requirement. It might be an option but would certainly wreck people's idea of using a six bottle shipper.

Not everyone lives close to a brewery that makes whale-quality draft-only beer. It also doesn't seem like the best idea to trade for a growler and then reship it. It's like playing a game of Russian Roulette where you don't know if the growler will leak, if the beer will be carbed, if it will be oxidized, etc.
