Whitespace

Is the white space possibly reserved for signatures? Did you turn signatures off? because I couldn't find how to create one.

 

Would love to see a black background, gold border and white letters.

 

I agree about the white space. Would be nice to reduce it.

 

Add me to the list. Too much wasted space. Also, hard to distinguish from one post to the next. The separator of posts needs to be more distinguishable.

And I say leave all messages on the front page. I have never understood the point of separating them per page. Needless clicking and navigating if you ask me.

 

Totally agree about way too much white space. I'm already experiencing some eye-strain!

 

Trimmed the user info seemed to take away some of the white space. Also made viewing 30 messages per page now.

 

You likely have your monitor brightness turned up very high. They tend to be set that way when they are built so that they look brighter in stores if put on display. It is overkill for a home/office setup. If you turn that down, your eyes won't get tired as quickly and the line will be much more noticeable. Granted a darker color and thicker line would help make it more noticeable as well.

 

Count me as one who would much rather see location than random crap

 

Whether people put their location or random stuff in there, I still think it's useful for it to be included...but that's just one man's opinion.

Most people put their location, very usefull in the trading forums

 

Now I get it. I missed that the free form field was turned off. No wonder I couldn't find it.

Count me in again as someone who'd like to see location back. Very useful, especially for people outside the USA. "Member" is redundant. Even if people write "crap" in the free form field, I will know the people who are experienced traders by whether they put their location there. This is especially useful, as we don't see a joined date any more.

I know you'll just say "click on the profile," but you know people; we only see what's conveniently put in front of our face. Putting it in front of our face makes this site more user friendly.

Please, keep signatures turned off. I like how this is starting to look like other forums that I belong to, but God, signatures just get out of hand.

 

This. Between sig pics, personal advertisement (Follow me on twitter) and other random acts of pointlessness, signatures are never helpful!

 

Can you make it fit in the window so I don't have to scroll left and right?
