I was wondering who you guys brewed with. I wanted to use the new poll system too.
I know there are benefits obviously to brewing with other people but there can also be downfalls as well. Let me know what you guys think!

I would like to track down a brew partner to share costs/ focus my over-active creative desire to brew billions of different beers.

For now, my wife keeps me in line

I brew with a friend who has done it a couple more times than me. I just finished my 2nd batch and like having a second head involved in the process.

I brew alone sometimes and sometimes I brew with hiphopj5. If we're brewing together, we usually do 2 separate 5 gallon batches, but we have done a split 10 gallon batch a couple times and a couple parti-gyles.

I have a dedicated brewing partner, we split all ingredient costs and the beer right up the middle. We pretty much only do 10 gallon batches then we can each have a full keg if we want or bottles. Then on top of it I have a couple regulars who come by and help out, They get to drink all they want at my house and I usually make sure to try and give them a few bottles out each batch. I do by all the equipment myself, so I never have to worry about if one of us has to move away or something like that.

I do find brewing by myself does actually go faster than a group, just because there is less standing around talking and drinking. When I'm all alone I'm pretty focused, but having a group is more fun.

Mostly alone, but every once in a while, a friend will brew with me to see the process.

I brew alone most of the time. If my wife is done with her stuff she will sit in the garage with me and have a beer. I had 4 beer drinking buddies over while I was brewing and not only did they pile through my home brew I was distracted and forgot to take a hydrometer reading.

Most of the time I brew alone. Sometimes with my wife and sometimes with friends. I'm kind of particular about how things are done so it's hard for me to let someone 'help' me.

Does the girl in your avatar want more banana esters in her beer?

I brew alone, but with my dog watching and fiancee around to lend a hand if needed. Would definitely like to have a brewing partner but all my friends who brew live out of state.

I think she's priming with banana.

Solo. My wife hates beer(and everything else fun for that matter). However, once I had the newspaper delivery guy stir my BK while I went downstairs to get a HB to give him to try. Does that count as a partner?

I brew solo, but the fiancee is my capper.

In my swinging bachelor days, I used to brew with two buddies but now, being Married with Children, a solo brewday is much easier to fit in schedule-wise...also, I'm somewhat of the opinion that too many cooks spoil the broth.

I have a 5-gal "pilot" set-up at my house and my buddy has a 1-BBL set-up at his place. We always brew together on the big system; on my small system I often brew alone, testing out recipes and such.

i brew with however many of my roommates are around that particular day. it's not necessary for all of us to be busy at the same time, but we call it "our beer" so i like to have everyone help out to some extent.

With the GF from start to finish. We each have our duties. She's been in it since the very beginning.
