whats weird is that the original email i got from cellar door said may 20th

edit/ all google searches say may 20th, where did this 17th info come from?

Sorry about that. I did send out the original email with the 20th as the date. Some schedule conflicts came up a few weeks ago and we had to change it to the 17th. Hopefully you can still come.

I'll be sending out an updated email to our email list either today or tomorrow.


I hope to see everyone out there. It's going to be a great time. I don't have all the pricing confirmed as of right now. I'll let everyone know pour sizes (probably 10-12oz snifters) and prices when I get pricing from my supplier.

Thanks for letting me know about that. They now know it's the 17th. Since I run the sister store in Hinsdale and am rarely at Cellar Door except for beer events, changes in the details don't always get passed along properly.

 

Aren't Sole Comps like 150 bottle releases?

 

Sad that I am missing this, but I already have tickets for Beer Under Glass.

 

My schedule is allowing me to go so I'll be attending.

 

While Sole Comps are usually 150ish bottle, single barrel releases, we were lucky enough to have Upright send one of the 2-3 kegs in existence to Illinois. Please come to Cellar Door and let's drain these kegs Chicago style.

Also if you haven't heard, we have the best BLT's around, or anything with bacon for that matter. We don't look at you funny if you order just a plate of bacon.

 

Will there be candied bacon?
