Who has the largest barrel program?

    Considering the size of their new facility and their interest in barrel-aged beers, Avery will be climbing this list over the next few years. I don't expect them to hit BCBS levels, but I can see them being #2 or #3 by 2017.

    Firestone Walker in Oct 2014 stated they had 1500 barrels in use

    I would guess New Holland. Dragon's Milk has a large distribution, is available year round, and comes in singles and 4-packs.

    What about Founders?

    Pretty wide distro of two barrel aged beers (Backwoods and KBS) - plus all the one offy stuff they're always pushing out or tapping...

    Maybe not the biggest, but have to assume top 10 or so?

    lol you got me chuckling. A number of my friends are brewers for Epic, which has a decent barrel program, and they all seem to believe that FW has the biggest barrel program. I don't know if thats also just speculation, but I want to guess there might be some industry insight there. So Id think FW it is.

    I was going to say CW as well. One of the breweries with cheap, if not the cheapest, barrel aged beers and well worth the money!
