I was out the other night and had an amazing beer from these guys called Velvet Revolution. Their online presence is small and website refers to starting to sell in April. On the website, they refer to brewing in a basement in Sturleicesterville, MA, while their listing on here indicates Leicester, MA, ratebeer indicates Holyoke, MA, and an address pops up on their newsletter email confirmation page that indicates Providence, RI? Wtf? Are these guys new to the scene or what does anyone know? I didn't find anything searching forums and am curious. Velvet Revolution is a damned fine beer...it is rare that I'm this taken aback by a beer especially from an unknown brewery. I'm nearly ready to go back to this bar that isn't near me just to have more.
Well, they brew at Paper City, which is where the Holyoke comes from: https://www.ttbonline.gov/colasonli...publicDisplaySearchBasic&ttbid=13267001000343 I think Sturleicesterville is Sturbridge + Leicester + ...ville? Presumably where the founders have their basement homebrew setups.
