I ask because I just brewed an ESB today.

    6lbs Maris Otter
    5.5 lbs Golden Promise
    1 lbs Munich

    1.5 oz EKG 60 min
    .5 oz Fuggles 20 min
    .5 oz EKG 20 min
    .5 oz Fuggles FO

Ended up with a little less than I wanted...used the new kettle for the first time, so I'm sitting at 5 gallons @ 1.076. Going to have to reduce my grain-bill to account for the higher efficiency I'm getting recently.

    How about you all?

Saved the yeast from the primary of a Dortmunder Export. I hope they're hungry since they're getting a Maibock on Sunday.

I used a temp controller with a solid state relay on the kegerator but I know it's not good on the compressor. It worked but......

Biggest brew day yet for me. 10% English barelywine in the mash. Now it's time to get started bottling a mild so I can put the barleywine on the yeast cake. Time for coffee.

Kegging a Vienna Lager tomorrow. I may also sneak a taste of a pils that is lagering in a Corny (my intention is to let this one lager for another 4 to 5 weeks). This morning I'm getting a starter going for a Mosiac Pale Ale that I'll be brewing on President's Day.

Looks like weather in my part of the world is actually going to be pretty nice this weekend, so I'm hoping to do my first batch of the year, which will also be my first all grain batch, so I'm pretty excited about that. I figured for my first AG batch, I'd go with a kit like I did for my first few extract batches, since I'm not really familiar with recipe formation for all grain beers. So I'll be doing a Sierra Nevada Pale Ale clone kit this weekend, and then I think my next batch will be the stout that you all crowdsourced the recipe for here.
