I wasn't going to, but my Cascades are ready. So, I'll be brewing a wet hop APA this Sat.

    How about y'all?

Drinking a lot of homebrew and watching football starting tonight! No brewing for me but I am bottling a Wookey Jack inspired ale and an ipa brewed with vermont ale yeast Saturday. Took off next Friday to brew so I will be finalizing my recipes and checking inventory also.

No brewing for me. Depending on if I can get RaspberryPints to run on a normal PC to TV instead of building hardware and running code, I might be loading my info into that. If not, I will be working on a Google Sheet that will do the same kind of thing and inputting that info into it. Might head to the brewclub's Belgian COC and party too if I find time.

I think this is the weekend I make my Berliner weisse. I ended up tossing the lactic starters I was making with grain. They developed a nice acidity but there were off aromas that I couldn't abide by. However, my back up starter with New Glarus Berliner weisse dregs seems to be doing all right. The wort will get dosed with that starter, the white labs Berliner strain, and some S-05.

Not it. I am doing my first solera pull though. The barrel SG after ~ 6 months is 1.012, so I'm defering bottling. I'll split the pull: 3 gallons plain to glass and 3 gallons on cherries. It tastes awesome, btw, slightly boozy aroma from the rye barrel with a softer flavor contribution with a complementary sourness (ECY 20 with many, many bottle dregs). Lots of wonderful oak. Not much funk.

Not this weekend. But some weekday (TBD) next week, I'll be brewing the AK.

Brewing my first batch ever on Sunday. Nervous and excited, going to start with a basic IPA.

If my tripel has reached its FG by this weekend, then I'll probably transfer it to the carboy so that I can brew another kit that I have lying around. Probably won't actually happen on the weekend, since the social calendar is pretty full, but maybe by Monday or Tuesday.

Brewing a beer with Rahr 2-row as base and some Crisp Amber (5%), and Crystal 15 (4%) and 55 (2%) (shooting for an SRM of ~8). Using Ringwood yeast. Still undecided as to whether I should go the ESB route using First Gold hops or a more APA route using a combination of Belma, Cascade, and Amarillo. Any suggestions? Cheers!

No brewing this week, but my birthday is this weekend so I'm gonna treat myself to some new brewing equipment and bottling my IPA on Monday! Happy birthday to me!

Maybe both? I make an Pale Ale with Fuggles in the boil, but dry-hopped with Amarillo, and it's tasty enough that I keep making it. (It also has a pound and a half of rye malt, but I don't think that's essential to making Fuggles and Amarillo work together.)

Interesting idea. What are your timings and amounts for the Fuggles? IBUs?

I hadn't heard of RaspberryPints until just now. Wow. If there were a way to change/select the type of glassware displayed with each beer, I would so do this.

I will be checking on the saison I brewed recently, and if time permits, brewing a batch of IPA this weekend. Also, I'll be finishing up the recipe for the imperial stout I plan to brew next weekend. Should be pretty busy, but looking forward to it.

Dunkelweizen. Never done one before, so I'm pretty much sticking with the Brewing Classic Styles recipe.

I'm picturing myself about six weeks from now, as weather (hopefully) turns cool, drinking a liter out on the porch and watching the leaves on my maple turn orang.e
