I am brewing my first lager Sunday. Munich helles

    10 lb pils
    8 oz light Munich
    8 oz carapils
    4 oz melanoidin

    .5 oz Hallertau: 60,30,20,10

Wlp833 German bock. I need to make a stir plate soon. 2 vials and 3+ liter starter made last night.

It's supposed to rain tomorrow again, so I am going to hopefully get my collar built for the keezer this weekend.

I'm doing an Amarillo, Simcoe IPA this weekend and looking for the what the best hop schedule would be. I'm thinking of bittering with Simcoe and then doing a big equal parts Simcoe and Amarillo at 15min and at flameout. Should I do a 30min addition? How about a hop stand?

I just placed an order for ingredients for a stout, a mild, a bitter, and an APA. I've been thinking about these beers ever since the Averagely Perfect Stout poll. However, I ended up taking my stout in a different direction. Anyhow, I won't be brewing this weekend, but soon.

Not brewing. Racking and dry hopping a preexisting brew though.

Well, my stove isn't "fixed" but I can use it, so I will be brewing the APA tomorrow. Unfortunately, I couldn't make a starter so I'll be pitching 3 packets of 1056 (each is 45 days old). Not ideal, but not much I can do about it.

Brewing a porter... After primary fermentation I will try some flavoring experiments- 1 gallon with raspberries, oak chips, and red wine. 1 gallon with raspberries and chocolate. 1 gallon with bourbon, oak chips, and maple syrup. The remaining 2 gallons will be left alone. Just something I've been wanting to try.

Well I just racked 80 gallons of Belgian Blond fermented with over $200 worth of this years ECY Bug Farm into a 59.5g French Oak Barrel and 4 glass carboys today, so I'm going to put some of that slurry to good use by brewing a 19 gallon batch of lambic this weekend. The sour pipeline will officially be full for a while after that

Mass distribution like you drank in a church? Sounds like a fun wedding.

Anyway, I havent brewed in months and have not been around here very much lately. Finally got to the lhbs for some grain and dry yeast. Bought a bunch of different Mangrove Jacks yeast and two sacks of Rahr Pale ale malt. Picked up some oak spirals too. Have about 5 lbs of hops in the freezer. Oh yeah bough a hop rhizome too, Ultra.

I have to knock some rust off my copper manifold. Then I think I will brew an IPA. Then perhaps a barleywine and add those oak spirals. Maybe make some brown malt.

It is nice to see @ventura78 is finally slowing down and brewing some smaller batches.

Got a saison to roll out with some ECY14.

Should be a good one to sit around and stew in my hot ass garage. Will let it start cool in the fermentation chamber and finish ambient in the garage. Need to crash the Kolsch and keg it.

Gonna finally do a bunch of bottling, but I'm almost so lazy about it, I've kind of neglected my keezer a bit in terms of keeping beers kegged up. I've got 2 batches sitting around that need kegged asap.

Might brew it up today and clean tomorrow. It's ugly out today, and only 64*F, but the cooler weather might be nice to sit outside and relax.
