What's everyone up to this next week?

I brewed a small starter with Russian River Deviation dregs. Hoping there are enough yeasties still alive and hungry that I can get something growing and step it up a handful of times so I can brew a sour blonde with it. Had good luck with Beatification b2+b5 dregs a few years ago (I am now on the 4th generation of that yeast) so I'm hoping this one will come through. Deviation was fucking phenomenal.

Also waiting for my hard root beer base to finish fermenting. It's been a week and it's still bubbling like crazy and has a 2" thick krausen. My first hard root beer experiment is kind of ghetto in nature in that I'm creating a big beer with as little flavor as possible, which I will add a gallon of Sprecher's root beer syrup to and force carb.

I plan on transferring 5 gallons of lambic split half/half onto 6 pounds of peach puree and 6 pounds of ripe diced and frozen/thawed mangos later this week. Need a source for kumquats so I can split the other 5 pounds half/half onto kumquats and passion fruit. Amazon has frozen passion fruit puree I am going to try. Spendy, but should be worth it!

I have 20 gal from 4 fermenters that I have to rack. I have 3 kegs available. I have to attack about 3 gal of ESB by the end of the week. I can do this, I can do this, I can do this. The worst part is I don't have any big beers setting up right now. I need to get a barley wine and an RIS going really soon.

Oh yeah, you reminded me, I get to add my bourbon+oak+vanilla bean+cacao nib tincture to my None More Black stout on the 10th.

Managed to kick the keg of that awful English Pale Ale I received as a gift, so I'll be kegging the @JohnSnowNW estates peach pale ale w/ wet cascades on Sunday. It's still very young, so it will condition in the keg at room temp for about a week.

This beer has reminded me how much I love London Ale yeast (WLP013) which I somehow have gone quite a few batches in a row without using. That stuff will chew through just about anything in a few days it seems. Really excited to brew a barleywine with it in a month or two.

No brewing for me. I just kegged up 11 gallons of IPA last night. Will be kegging up 11 gallons of Saison and 5.5 gallons of Coffee Porter this weekend.

Bottling an imperial stout that came in at ~10.4%. Blending with cold-steeped ethiopian yirgacheffe coffee at bottling, along with a tincture of oak/vanilla bean infused bourbon. The tincture is super strong though - lots of oak. Probably only adding around 4-5 oz at bottling. I don't wanna risk this stout tasting like Pinocchio's ass!

Also soaking more vanilla beans in rum to eventually add to an imperial pumpkin ale. Lots of rum/bourbon tinctures going around... but hey, the cold weather will be here before we know it.

@Lukass rum tinctures work well. I have some vanilla beans, coffee, cacao nibs, and a touch of ancho steeping in rum right now for my stout. Worked well last year with straight vanilla, excited for the molé version this year.

I'm still supposed to brew that dubbel, but I haven't bought my new yeast just yet. My back is also a bit sore after a weekend of playing with my son at the lake, and I don't know how I feel about the prospect of hauling a kettle full of 5 gallons or wort around. Hmm, maybe I should just siphon the beer into the carboy this time...

I realized the other day that this weekend is the only time I can brew this month so double brew weekend it is! Imperial Stout on Saturday, Averagely Perfect Saison on Sunday.

Going to be brewing a Nelson Sauvin smash on Saturday. 9 lbs of Pilsner and 5 ounces of Nelson with WLP001. I made a Simcoe smash a few months ago that was outstanding.

Got the starter of London Ale III going tonight for my version of a NE style IPA. Got roped into doing a keg for a work function at my new job. No pressure. Just one shot at getting it right for 40+ people I just started working with. Feel good about it though as this is a pretty solid recipe for me.

Just started my BIAB Cascade Fresh Hop Pale Ale, my (2) first year cascade plants put out a whopping 6.7 oz of leafs and I'm going to mix all that lovely wet hop lupulin in before the end of the boil. Probably with some citra, mosaic and centennial pellets in there too for good measure.

Wait til next year, you'll be talking about pounds going in to a wet hopped APA, not oz's. Seriously, I added 2.5 lbs at flameout to mine, the hop sack expanded in the kettle to where it was pretty much just all fresh green cones with wort surrounding them. After chilling I probably squeezed out 2 gallons of green yellow hop juice back into the wort. I'm bottling this tomorrow, it's been sitting for the last week with the last five oz of cones I picked last weekend in it. Smells incredible.

Just started the boil on a Dubbel. Thanks for @JackHorzempa for the recipe advice. My first experience with 3787. Should be interesting - it was the most active starter I've had so far.
