Because of the temporary warmer temps I will be brewing an imperial stout on Saturday. I have cocoa nibs, vanilla beans and American oak cubes soaking in Makers Mark that I plan on adding.

Brewing a big milk stout that I bounced a lot of ideas off of @barfdiggs in creating the recipe.

Smoked Oaked Dark Mild will be getting kegged and placed in the kegerator.

Just placed my Cranberry Cyser in the kegerator last night for a temporary stint while I wait for the Mild in there on Saturday.

DIPA will be finishing up for another week then getting kegged and dry hopped.

    Cheers!

I may bottle a bit. I have 51 - 750ml bottles ready for filling and corks. Have to check gravity tonight and see where things are. Either that or a bit of hunting which I have neglected for the past few years due to brewing.

    Bottling a pale ale.

Also moving a Belgian Strong Dark to a warm room to hopefully get some carb. Dead flat after 3 weeks. Didn't reyeast at bottling, but I figure I will give it a couple of weeks of warmth then about a month before i try another bottle.

Brewing a dark belgian with two yeast strains (Ommegang and DuPont), also one gallon partigyle w/3522 to be dh'ed with Centennial . . . my stir plate may need a new bearing. My virgin plate chiller sees action for the first time. Bottling a wild ale that I've been looking at for a long time.

I bottled some cider the other day - 3 gallons had aged on cinnamon sticks and vanilla bean, 3 more on bourbon-soaked oak chips. Not bad if I do say so, for being flat...
Sunday I'm bottling my latest IPA. Been dryhopping all week with a couple ounces Cascade, with 2 oz each Mosaic, Citra and Falconers Flight in the boil (plus homegrown Newport for bittering) Smelled great when I popped the top to add the dry hop and take a gravity check.

No brewing for me. I have 7 brews in a BJCP and I am judging in that comp tomorrow (not mine of course). Should be fun, especially since I entered most all of thr categories I would love to judge leaving me with the others. At least IPA is an option for judging as I didn't enter that category.

Sounds like someone took the mantra "brew the beer you want to drink" to heart.

Bottling a black IPA. Might brew the base (saison) for a raspberry beer.

I am. I just bought a vial of WLP004 and a smack pack of WY1084. Making starters today. Going to make an Irish Red tomorrow, but more importantly, propogate the yeast for the APA Stout plus an Imperial Red for the near future.

Brewing a robust porter tomorrow, got the yeast on the stir plate going now. Going to add French oak and some Heaven Hill bourbon to it later, which are tucked away in a cabinet together hopefully playing nice.

I'm mashed in on a Brown Ale, ala "Avery's Ellies Brown".

Gonna keep all the crap out on the back porch tonight and brew up a blonde.. Haven't decided what hops I want to use. Probably whatever I have left from last years crop to try and use up.. So probably amarillo and centennial or cascade in the mix. Will use the 1217 WY that I have sitting around, and instead of making a starter, I'll just pitch the packet on the blonde. It'll turn out fine, and it'll be able to get a nice cake to clean up, save, and then pitch an IPA on the cake of the blonde. Hopefully my neighbors will drown some kegs tomorrow so I can keg my wifes cider.

So.. two batches, hopefully kegging a cider, and maybe doing something with this BA scotch ale I've got sitting around. Got busy and forgot about it and I'm sure it's a bit over oaked now.

    Well..

Wish me luck. Mid boil and my kids are back home from gma's house and I'm gonna try my hand at brewing with fussy twins.

With that... my brown ale smells damn good out there.

Haha! I'm waiting for my fussy twins to go to bed to try my first every homebrew. Starting out with a 1 gallon Brooklyn Brew Shop kit.
