    I just finished the 2nd stage of a starter for my usual La Chouffe clone house beer, to be brewed Sunday. Anyone else have a brew day on tap?

    No brewing, but I'll be juicing some passion fruit to add to what was supposed to be a Galaxy IPA, but turned out to be a Galaxy Double Pale Ale. Misjudged the amount of water when brewing with extract, but should still be good.

    The normal rotation is La Chouffe, Orval, Triple Karmeliet, clones. We also do a dark strong Belgian, a stout , Saison's , and the once a year Christmas or English beer.

    Yeah, going to brew for the second weekend running

    Making a starter tonight for brewing tomorrow. Not set on the recipe but it'll be a lowish gravity english ale with wlp023. Might make a hobgoblin type beer to share with my dad

    16 gal batch of IPA split 4 ways for the great WP experiment, it's going to be a tricky dribble and a long day, but will have help from a brew buddy.

    I'm gonna do a basic pale ale malt bill, give hopbursting a try with some Nelson Sauvin and Galena (leftovers from previous brews) and ferment it with WLP300 or Fermentis Abbaye. Should be an interesting, fruity summer beer.

    No brewing for me this weekend. Our club is doing a garage crawl in my area of the city, starting at my house. Show off your system, answer questions on technique, sample beers, then off to the next location. Should be fun.

    @eaglepar3 are you coming?

    I like that idea, I'm going to propose that to the club I belong to.

    I brewed my second batch of homebrew today using the same recipe as the first time around: pilsner malt and Hallertauer Mittelfrüh. I've tried to improve on some things from last time around such as getting a better yield from the sparging stage, this time around I managed to get the pre-boil volume that I wanted.

    Right now the mash is going for my CDA/BIPA. If worthy, I'll eventually post the recipe in the recipes section. Cheers!

    No brewing for me this weekend... My IIPA finishes conditioning and will move on to the fridge for cold conditioning a few days before friend/family distro :grinning: I will also be making my DIY stir plate for my upcoming Oktoberfest lager I will be brewing in 2-3 weeks.

    I had a brewday a few weeks ago where the ambient temp was 89, with the burner going in the garage it hit 99 in the brewhouse.

    It's going to be 95 and humid tomorrow here. My brew day temperature limits are 34-85 unless it's an emergency brew day situation.
