I'm hoping to rattle off an RIS onto an Irish yeastcake. I got my wisdom teeth cut out and I'm hoping the drugs wear off so I can focus on a recipe. I'll also check up on my first all leaf IIPA. It smells like hell and I'm pretty sure it's already oxidized. Time will soon tell.

What about all of you guys and gals?

Souring a Berliner wort and building a starter for my first tripel. Will likely brew Tuesday once the wort is nice and tart

Got my NB Denny's Wry Smile Rye ready to go, although I haven't made a starter yet. Hope to do it with my burner this time, but I want to get a piece of aluminum flashing to protect the kettle valve & o-rings. Have an Irish Red in the conical that I think is 'done' at least for primary fermentation but I'm going to leave it another week but I'll do a gravity test at least. My Blue Moon I kegged on Monday, I think, and put 20lb of gas on it but turned it down to 12 this morning, so I'll be testing the carbonation this weekend and getting that first glass or so of dregs off the bottom. I'll be drinking my Dead Ringer throughout. :-D

I don't think I've had this many beers going on at the same time.

I may resurrect a no-boil, all grain, single decoct Berliner recipe that I made a couple of times about 10 years ago.

Kegging my coffee porter split batch tonight. Half on West Yorkshire the other on Brett Trois. Bottled the last of my Barleywine and other non beer beverage last night to get my kegs. Picking up the coffee beans after work. Tomorrow I take my BJCP tasting exam. After that headed to the brewfest to have some good beers, date night with the wife, and find out how I did in the comp last weekend (announced at brewfest).

I'm bottling my first home brew, a brewers best IPA, this weekend. Excited to try it out in two weeks and hoping I didn't screw it up somewhere.

No brewing for me. I will be drinking my recently kegged Brettgate IPA, and entertaining my folks as they are coming into town to celebrate my youngest son's 1st birthday.

if I can squeeze out a beer on Saturday it will be fast and simple. if things go as planned i'll head down the lhbs and pick up 12 pounds of base, 1 pound of something interesting along with US 05 and whatever hops I have in the freezer.

when it is ready to drink my beer buddies will want to know the style.
exciting I know. probably end up fixing something around the house the needs attention or will break by Saturday.

At some point this weekend brewing up a 10 gallon batch of a lambic style ale. 1/3 wheat, wyeast lambic blend... will be pitching in some Cantillon dregs next week to it. Will let it sit a month in a bucket, then upwards of a year in glass. Should be interesting!

Sorting through a ton of bottles, carboys, etc. from an old storage facility so that I can finally get my brewing garage set up properly. There are plenty of bottles of aging-appropriate homebrews (an old ale, wheatwine, sour cherry flanders red, etc.) in the boxes as well, so I may do a brief tasting with my brewing partner to see how they're evolving/holding up.

As for beer, brewing my first batch at the new digs will probably still have to wait for a few more weeks.

Have a Surly Furious Clone that I just dry hopped with 8.5 ounces. I put 26 stainless steel nuts in the hop bag and it wouldn't sink! I wound up having to put silverware (stainless butter knife) to finally get the bag to go down.

Making an very boring lager for out of town family with boring Neanderthal palates.
    Yay...

I might add an extra once or two of hops just to mess with them a bit. Lupulin threshold shift social engineering...

Brewing a base beer for a barrel aged sour golden similar to The Rare Barrel's base golden. Also will be fermenting in a stainless Sanke keg for the first time.

No brewing in the end today. Too windy this morning, and I wasn't all that motivated anyway. Did step up some yeast for next weekend's batch of Munich Helles.

I'm trying to lose a little weight, so I'm drinking less and keeping it to (mostly) lower gravity styles. Today I'll use the yeast cake from an ordinary bitter to brew up and English mild. I'll probably follow that later with a dry stout. A table saison is somewhere in the near future as well.
