I'm down to the last pint or so of my oaked cream ale. I'm going to miss that one. It was a very fun beer to taste as it aged.

First time to use my burner. Of course the wind was awful but I got through it. The only problem I'm having is this is the first beer I've done that is trying to escape the fermentor. Is it too late to try something like fermcap?

Brewed a Pliny the Elder clone last night. This is my third time doing Pliny....the last one was great, so I think I have it down!

    I did a few things:

    1) Cold crashed and kegged an all centennial IPA.
    2) Moved my Creme Brulee Stout clone to a secondary (the ABV was measured at 9.5%). I added vanilla. I washed and saved the yeast from the primary (Londan Ale Wyeast).
    3) I brewed for the second time an Irish Red and I used a yeast starter made from the washed yeast from the first batch of the red.
    4) I washed and saved an American Ale Yeast Wyeast from my friends Dead Guy Clone. He hasn't started down the yeast path yet, so I scavenged his "trash".

Brewed a India Brown Ale yesterday and already dealing with a blowout. Think the temp in the room I have it in is too high. It is hovering right around 70. Ive always placed it here but may need to find a new place for fermenting.

Brewed an Irish Rye Ale Saturday, but ended up with 1.046 OG instead of the anticipated 1.066. Within a few hours the primary bucket lid was bubbled from pressure though, so switched from an air lock to a blow-off-tube. Hoping that the starter with two packets of yeast will make up for the difference.

I moved a Kolsch to secondary and brewed a German Altbier this weekend. Nothing lined up for this weekend, but the weekend after that will be bottling and transferring again, and I'm still not sure what my next batch will be. Maybe an American Amber, kinda like my Scottish Ale, but ya know "murica"
