Basic saison using Yeast Bay Saison Blend, hopped with Columbus, Mosaic, Citra, and Nelson. Considering throwing in some Wicked Weed bottle dregs at the start, but not 100% sure on that yet.

I just mashed in and brewing a Belgian Golden Strong. I'll be mutli-tasking between meetings (working from home). Turning on the propane at 5:45 AM local time I believe this is the earliest start time for me.

22.5 gallons of IPA (Galaxy/Topaz/Pacifica/Sorachi) while teaching two people to brew. Will beer gun two kegs of barrel aged beer as well to free up space for the IPAs when done fermenting. Have 14 full kegs of beer at the moment, with four more kegs on order. So tired....

If you're in CA come on by! Any style that isn't hoppy and can benefit from bottle conditioning has been keg conditioning warm to allow the hoppy stuff to stay cold in the keezer (four kegs) or fridge (six kegs) [Buying a used freezer on CL this week]. On top of all that stuff, two 12 gal barrels full as well, one a dark sour in a rum barrel and the other a rye barley wine in a brandy barrel. After not brewing last year, I've went a bit overboard the last couple months.

After having 3 beers have a weird flavor and not tasting that good, I'm gun shy, but I'm going back in anyway. I've got 2 extract kits kicking around the house but I also bought a Brewers Best all-grain BIAB kit with about 13.5lbs of grain. I'm not expecting much from this but I'm going to give it a go. I just have to decide which one I want to do.

What do you do with all this beer? Maybe its because I only have like 3 friends, but I can not imagine going through all of that!

I too only have about 3-4 friends I drink with, but my wife ropes me into lots of her events (its cool, she pays the bills) and friends ask (and reimburse for ingredients), plus competitions:

-20 person, 10 course paired food and beer tasting event (my beer) with local chef (The Eatery)
-2,000 person run walk (wife is director of event), my beer alongside hanger24 in bier garden
-Caltech Strong Ale Club event, 3 kegs donated
-Southern Cal home-brew fest & beer orgy

Just pitched the yeast for an IPA. Cascade, Chinook and Ahtanum. I've never used the last one, but I think it'll be good. After the FO addition (1.5 oz Cascade, 1 oz Chinook, 2 oz Ahtanum) it was nothing but grapefruit and pine trees. However, when measuring, this seemed to be an insanely mango/tropical harvest for Chinook.

I may brew an Imperial Stout. This is going to be a bottling weekend for me, just picked up some cases of 22's. Have a Nut Brown and a Super Dunkel to cap up.

    Ermahgahd....

Hallertau Blanc and Mandarina Bavaria.. rubbed in my hands smell freaking amazing..

I think I'm going to toss in a Pilsners/Two Row and a touch of Vienna and slam a bunch of these babies in there with some simple 34/70 yeast.. I managed to hoard.. 8 packets of it some how.. need to use it up.

Only have 2 packs of US05, and the only liquid yeast on hand is bacteria for sour beers..

So... sticking to my above plans.. IPL with Hallertau Blanc and Mandarina.. then a simple xtra pale, or IPA with Lemon Drop hops.. maybe some Falconers flight too.. can't decide if I want to single hop.

Can't wait for more beers with WL 833. So damn malty.

My U is on spring break this week, as are my kids/wife's schools. Had hoped to brew a bunch, but we decided on a last minute (awesome) trip to the mountains. Got back yesterday, and brewed an all-Brett Saison today. I hope to squeeze in a Bohemian Pils on Sunday, but we'll see...

Brewing my regular IPA this weekend. Thinking about throwing in some Brett this time. If my LHBS has WLP 644 in stock I'm gonna go for it. I have a stout that's still going, so I need to pick up another bucket as well.
