    What's cookin` this weekend?

I got postponed on a 10 gal batch of stout. I'll sweeten half of it and maybe add some cold steeped dark roast into the other half. That'll happen on Sunday.

Took a day off yesterday and brewed a Citra/Centennial IPA, Second batch of this one. No real adjustments made which is very weird for me.

Saturday I plan on brewing the Averagely Perfect Saison. Got my ingredients ready!

Rebrewing my IPA recipe with a minor hop tweeking, and fermenting the entire 11 gallons with the same Brett strain. No kicking my IPA in under 3 weeks this time. Also kegging my 100% Brett Saison, first iteration of the recipe for the brewery. Not as dry as I had hoped, but still yummy.

Busy weekend for me. Transferring farmhouse cider to secondary, transfer an ipa to keg for dry hop, brewing another ipa for memorial weekend bbq. Plus a wedding to go to and tons of yard work. Weekend looks great though, 80* and sunny on Sunday, perfect brewing weather

Doing my first homebrew tomorrow! It will be an IPA at 6% ABV and 75 IBU's (expected). Chinook, Simcoe and Citra hops at various stages. Pale 2-row, Victory and Crystal malts.

Can't wait until I can try it out!

Big Brew Day Kolsch. Looking forward to some process advice from some talented brewers and hoping the change of environment and craziness doesn't cause me to do anything too stupid.

Brewing with a fellow BA'er this Sun., and it'll be a simple 5% APA with Centennial, Lemon Drop, and Cascade. Though, I am considering switching out the Cascade. Going to dry-hop this one with the Centennial and Lemon Drop.

I've got two experimental hops, Otto Supreme and Armadillo, that I could substitute. Just not sure.

Haven't finalized the recipe yet for Sunday, but off the top of the head it'll be something like:

    45% Pils
    25% Unmalted Wheat
    20% Malted Wheat
    10% Oats

15 gallons. Five get 3944 (witbier). Another gets Sacch. Eubayanus. And the last five gets some yeast built up from an amazing local sour (McKenzie Cezanne).
