    Just did my first true lager Czech pilsner with my new mini fridge and temp controller.
    Forgot to mention thank's for the help of WY2124 Bohemian Lager.

    I'm brewing a test batch (3 gallons) of my first SMASH beer on Saturday. Maris Otter malt and Magnum hops. Looking forward to the simplicity.

    Careful with old hops. They get a bad smell pretty quickly once they've been exposed to oxygen. On the other hand, nobody refrigerated hops for centuries, and that worked out. If they smell ok, to you, enjoy!
