I recently ordered 2 vials and noticed they had noticeably different yeast levels. I've already used one or I'd take a side by side picture. The one I have left has in between what's in your two vial, as well.

Just kegged my American Brown that I brewed three weekends ago. Nice chocolate and dark crystal malt flavors with good Cascade and Willamette flavors. Should be a winner!

Now to clean out the fermenter and a kicked keg. :grimacing:

    Cheers!

FATC1TY's Citra Pale recipe caught my eye earlier this week (much appreciated), brewed it last night. Smelled terrific going in and bubbling like it's got something to prove today. Can't wait to taste later this month.

I have spent the entire day working on a Family recipe from the 1600's. It comes from my family over in Wexford,Ireland. I am very fortunate to have good physical records of this recipe. This is the one brew I make sure that I truly take my time and triple check
    everything.

    The Bargy Rebellion Gruit

It is named after the Bargy Castle our Ancestors owned and lost to Cromwell and the Wexford Rebellion when we rose up and fought Cromwell for our lands.

It is an unhopped brew and uses several herbs, such as Yarrow,Rosemary. I also have an alternative recipe that was a medicinal brew when certain herbs were combined it would give an "Altering" effect. This was apparently given to wounded soldiers or anyone to take the edge off during a serious illness or surgery.

I will admit it is a strong brew and only drink a few a session. However, for using the means at the time its pretty good. Everytime I drink a bottle I realize this is real beer before it became wimpier over time.

Thanks GG Grandpap for taking the long boat ride to America!

I probably would never brew it, but I would be interested in seeing the recipe if you don't mind.

I will post it up in the next day, I will leave an ingredient out that wont make much difference. And you likely would not find locally. I have mine shipped from a company in Vermont. Probably would not make sense unless you brewed it often.

Added 4th and final dry hop to my Younger clone, got a spontaneously fermented starter going (let it sit outside under my crab apple tree for 16 hours), and now brewing a flemish oud bruin. My first go at doing a multi-step mash.

A 4X dry hop? I can't smell it from here.

Pffft...talk to me when you do an 8X dry hop.

Bottled a 12% Barleywine that I brewed back in November. Dry hopped it with Cascade last weekend. Also got a starter going for a Simcoe Session ale I'll be brewing in a few days.

I just brewed a trois ipa yesterday. My two vials looked exactly like your two vials. If I correctly recall, the one marked July looked like your fuller vial on the right while the one marked August looked like your less full vial on the left.

Brewed a Mosaic IPA yesterday, first batch of the year. It's my third crack at brewing a beer inspired by Chillwave, but I dialed back the OG to single IPA levels this time, 1.070 instead of 1.088. Smells fantastic out of the air locks.

Kegged my Maibock last week and enjoyed some of that after flameout.
