I brewed an IPA. Pale Malt, touch of crystal 15, and some sugar. Mashed for 4 hrs at 148, was working while mashed. Bitter with Nelson and bombed it last 10 minutes with Simcoe and Amarillo total of 6 oz. I will dry hop with both 2oz each.

Possibly a bottling and blending operation, depending on how efficient I am with some non-beer tasks.

I was going to do an historic scottish IPA or PA but didn't quite have the right ingredients so I ended up merging two
recipes then changing the yeast and adding some sugar so it's currently at a Belgian PA/IPA. :open_mouth: I had some washed WLP530 at the back of the fridge so I decided I'll use that

Depends on the weather...if it snows, I'm brewing...because I haven't brewed in the snow before.

Just finished up an oatmeal stout a little while ago. Tomorrow I'll be checking in on my KBS clone (in secondary for a month and a half now) and my 07 Vertical Epic clone (bottled for four weeks). Hopefully I'll get to a black rye IIPA early next week.

I have a BDSA that is not very D that I brewed yesterday. Pitched at 60F and rising:sunglasses:.

Starter for my next IPA is hitting its stride.

    Slow day?

I would keg first. That will get you in the groove for that bottling extravaganza. Good luck!

Then you haven't brewed... stop by if you find yourself in VT in winter and we'll brew outdoors in single digit temps:grinning:

edit: I'll be racking an IPA and making a bunch of starter wort.

I have ingredients on deck for an American Black Ale for this Sunday afternoon brew. I'm hoping my recipe turns out something like a Southern Tier Iniquity, but with a lower ABV.

I am thinking of a 4 gallon Belma Pale Ale to (1) Find out what Belma brings to the party and (2) Build up yeast for a DIPA and will keg & start lagering a Bo-Pils (while testing for D rest on my Schwarzbier).

I may not though, it depends on life, though this is my last window of opportunity to brew until January.

Got done doing a 5 gallon batch of Kolsch around 3 Pm today. Going to try an experimental IPA tomorrow using my own malted barley and washed yeast. Yeast looks good in the starter now.

I was a kitchen brewer until just recently...now I am an exibitionist...brew with the garage door open. The IPA sounds good, but it's hard to get excited about starter wort ...even in the snow : )

I'm cheating there and making a couple gallons of starter wort on our woodstove, indoors, tomorrow (getting old and wussy). Winter hasn't shown up here yet anyway; it's still above freezing at 9pm tonight, warmer than the normal high temp...

I'm a former Salt Lake resident and have fond memories of the mild sunny winters, but overall like it much better here (soft water, Heady Topper, lots of non beer things).

I enjoy working outside, but in the winter I mash inside and now do the rest outside... -20C was my last brewday with fluffy snow falling everywhere, good times
