    I'm boiling an Abrasive clone right now. Does anyone ever scrape off the film that develops at the top of the boil pot right before it boils, or is it just me? Is there any advantage to doing that? Or should I just leave it alone?

    Just took another gravity reading. Fermentation is definitely under way albeit slowly for now. It has gravity has dropped by .005 in the last two hours, however, so I'm expecting it to go crazy by the time I wake up tomorrow.
