Whenever I go through the WBAYDN thread, I "Like" posts from posters I'm familiar with, or creative posts, or funny posts, or posts of beers I've had before. This last category is what this thread refers to - the posters where you see a great degree of commonality with the beers you drink, to the point where you wonder if they have a key to your garage and are helping themselves to your beer fridge (which I would be totally cool with) - or you're raiding THEIR beer fridge.

I have a couple that come to mind, @MattyG85 and @Prager62. Both are primarily "proximity based" (I lived in Minnesota for 18 years, and I grew up in Northern Indiana), but it amazes me at times how often I'm drinking the same beers they are.

BTW, this thread was motivated because I was mentally planning my "beer evening" (I'm the oldest of 5 kids, so I had to be the planner) as I perused WBAYDN this morning, and I was thinking of having a Backwoods Bastard - and I saw @Prager62 had one this morning. Wild and wacky stuff, indeed.

    @Wiffler27

Every time I review a beer and hit my following tab he's already got a review in there a day or two before me. Around same time and same thoughts.

Well, I can certainly 'identify' with a lot of the folks here.

True especially in WBAYDN. That said and despite everyone support in this peculiar thread or other sections of BA some come to mind. @CanadianBacon.

It's Friday evening, are we bro-drunk?

I don't know about the real world, but my "Bizarro World" twin could be just about any one of you Tree House and Trillium freaks who keep taunting the rest of us poor bastards with your pulpy and juicy IPA's.

Okay, maybe my friend and co-worker @Strike00 in the real world. We're both stuck here in flyover country with the same old Toppling Goliath stuff day in and day out. :stuck_out_tongue:

One person that I feel like I have a lot in common with, despite one major flaw of his (stupid Wolverines) , is @jvgoor3786. But, I have to say @SomethingClever because he is literally drinking my beer half the time. All I get from him are some infected Bourbon Countys:rolling_eyes:

My memory isn't for crap, but I think @cjgiant is usually doppelganging it up. At least I believe he's the one that has pretty much the same exact take on Adroit Theory beer as I.

There are those Germanophiles out there- @JackHorzempa, @steveh, and others. @nc41 and I live in the same area and share similar distribution, but we also like every kind of beer. @marquis takes me back to the English Ales that I love best. It's impossible because I trust so many around here!

I like 92.1% of the What Beer are You Drinking Now crowd. @Shroud0fdoom and @lordofthewiens have a lot of the same tastes. Still I'd have to say @WesMantooth just because I have drank so much of his beer over the last couple years . We actually see eye to eye on a lot of beers but still argue ferociously over the ones we disagree about. Although, he ends up being wrong:stuck_out_tongue:...naturally.

I don't recall ever being wrong, but especially not about beer.

You are one I thought of for this thread, as I usually see you with a new beer shortly before or after I had or bought one. @jvgoor3786 is also an Adroit (and Founders) fan.

Although for the oddity of it, I'd have to go with @Roguer. We've paired NBS posts more often than would make sense given that he was in RI (I think - or was it Connecticut)? Given what he has said about his new location's distribution, I think the position of my "twin" may be open. Luckily applications are being accepted before the Duvel Day, selfie edition goes off

If I visited my Mom in Dayton more, you would be my "beer step-brother." Lotta good beers coming out of the Buckeye state.

Uggg, am I really beer-related to a Buckeye?. Yeah, I guess I am. I'm ok with that though, because you're super generous and we seems to like and drink the same beer. I feel like I could toss @jzeilinger and @Prager62 in the mix too, and it would get scary.

I have noticed themes in WBAYDN on a lot of days. Sometimes it's like the whole thread is synced up from spending too much time together.

Rebel Kettle Brewing down here is a little like Adroit Theory. They release a new beer at least once or twice a week, don't can or bottle anything (like AT used to be), and they do some unique stuff. They just released a malt liquor this week. I'd be happy to be your beer twin. I really feel like we bonded during the four-hour "WWS Incident." Plus, I've met the GF, so I kinda feel like family now.

Good memory, good sir; it was CT. Right and right about the distro here, although if I make the drive to Jax, my world opens back up.

NBS produces some wonderful beer coincidences. CJ and I have synced up more than I would ever have guessed, but there are some others there, as well. I really love those special days where three or even four of us are having the same beer.

As for WBAYDN?, I can't think of anyone off-hand with whom I often unintentionally sync up. I mean, every breakfast/lunch FBS is nearly guaranteed for some synchronicity, but beyond that.... :grinning:

Now that I'm working out (in a limited fashion), maybe I can accept your application in good faith. Though I might live in constant fear of boot camp if I got the chance to meet your wife
