    Depends on where I am. Though tbh if I want a beer, I am drinking it for myself. If I want to check out a new beer at a new brewery, I am going to go there period. now that said, a good person to chat with that loves beer can be nice or it can be shit....

    but yea the home crowd are nice folks to shoot the shit and guzzle some HB with....the wife she does not care much about beer anymore...

    My wife. True story - I wouldn't be a beer drinker at all without her. 2 years into marriage we were wine/cocktail drinkers and neither of us had even tasted beer before. She was curious and wanted to try beer so we bought a six-pack of Blue Moon (don't judge).

    It took another year to get seriously into craft beer, and what a great journey it's been!

    My friend Larry- while the fiancee is preoccupied with this or that, he and I cook up some killer food or grab some cheese and go to town on a couple nice ones. He's come a long ways

    Two friends/colleagues if it's a pale/IPA/DIPA, and my wife if it's a dark beer of any kind that has been aged in a former _____(insert name of liquor here) barrel.

    Not sure anyone will believe me but my Mother-in-law. She will try any new brew I set in front of her. She teaches my kids Piano on Fridays and when I get home I crack something nice and share it with her. Other than that my brother.
