This may be blasphemy, but I've enjoyed a fresh FW Double Jack as much as any of our VT beers.
But, the trek to our mountains, standing in the farm yard, getting your fresh brew is still something quite enjoyable.

I have family in Vermont, including my son, so I visit often, and I was a customer at the old Alchemist pub on a few occasions, and have enjoyed Heady for years, so I tend to resent being treated like I am almost invisible, but stinky, by folks who sell Heady Topper at their stores. Can't always make it to the stores when they still have cases, so I hafta endure the attitude. At the end of summer there will be 18 local breweries pumping out some great beer here, and in the future I doubt I will buy Vermont beer anywhere near as much as I do now.

And ixnay on the airmaidenfay alktay

I think he meant the fresh part, and was being humorous. I have same problem here with getting it fresh.

I think the question was in reference to the "fresh" part.

Well that certainly makes more sense. I'm 2 hours from the brewery and I have the same problem sometime.
