Why do we love beer?

    Thanks on the props. Indeed the craft industry is taking off here. A lot of wineries are sub branching into beer and cider. I visited one yesterday and was like a kid in a candy store with 9 beers on tap and most over 5.7 ABV

    i believe you. Nothing better than the taste of a cold Lager on a hot day. I can finish the bottle and have the second one ready to go before my wife asks what i want to drink!

    I made a beer once that was basically a brown ale. I did use bittering hops in for 60 minutes, but instead of flavor or aroma hops I used sweet gale. That was popular for making gruit before hops were universally accepted. It definitely had a different, more astringent bitterness.

    You just mentioned ALL of my favorite things. You forgot to mention one thing: Lucky Charms cereal, or most importantly Chocolate Lucky Charms. True art -- and I swear to my Lord I am not joking.
