Why do you drink beer?

    Price of the buzz and enjoyment, social lub, peer pressure. at first. Then I knew that, I hated beer taste, why well it was bitter and terrible....of course were talking Texas lagers in the 60's yuck...

    now days I drink because I like to drink...all about the taste really. Its like making your own beer, It is interesting but its not that fun, but the end product is better to drink. I think the taste remains the number 1, I don't need any other reasons.

    It's not that refreshing because I never drank for thirst.

    I have always figured it was an alcohol delivery system, that I enjoyed. Let's not BS ourselves here the buzz factor was number 1 for a while there. or is it just me....haha:grinning:

    I've tried eating beer, but found it mostly ran through the tines of my fork. Seems to me that drinking beer works better.

    2. So many different varieties, styles, limited releases and experimentation beers all at very reasonable prices.

    3. I used to think wine and certain brands of whiskey were really complex until I discovered high quality beer. My goodness, how quickly my mind has changed.

    Listening to records is better with a great beer in hand. Watching a game is better with a great beer in hand. Hanging with friends is better with a great beer in hand. "Hey guys, you want to meet up for a Coke after work?" "No." Beer is the perfect libation.
