Why do you drink beer?

TO GET DRUNK!!!

 

I enjoy living in the era of the American craft beer renaissance. I grew up with limited mediocre macro choices.

The drinking experience:

Aroma
mouth feel

places to drink

It's a new ball game.

 

Absolutely agree. I anticipate drinking certain beers in my stash for different nights. For example, last night was Weihenstephaner Vitus night. I am still saving a few cans of my Narraganset Porter for a summer day.

 

How many guys ever got laid with a pickup line of "Can I buy you a club soda"?

 

Discovering endless new varieties and tastes and learning more about my own preferences in the process.
The refreshing taste.
The sweet relief it brings after a long day of work!

and really Kool Aid in hand is harder to explain as an adult than a beer...save for having this slop in your grip

 

That's simple. I like it. All the different and unique beers all have their place, time and season. Not to mention pairing with great food.

Drinking alone let's me really focus on the beer, and it's the only time I review since smell and taste are the main focus. But I like how beer brings people together...a large part of my social life is centered around beer.

It feels right while grilling. The wide range of styles and flavors are nice as well and, who doesn't like a buzz?
