    I trade to share beers (that we'd never get to try) with my two semi-active BA friends who don't trade and to send out some awesome brews to great traders.

    I trade to try beers I can't get at home. They mostly wind being shared because I'm not drinking a whole 22 or 750 of 12% ABV beer on my own. My fiancee is largely the beneficiary but others get some too on occasion.

    Also it's fun and addicting and mystery extras are exciting.

    90% of the time, when I trade I tell my trading partner to just send me what seems fair to them. I always try to ship first and have been rewarded with wonderful beers as a result. Greed is overrated!

    I'm lucky enough to have stupid-easy access to a world class beer (Heady Topper). So, I like spreading the HT gospel and in the return have gotten to try MANY beers not available in Vermont. I hope it's a win-win for all.
