    Please correct me if I'm wrong here but how come DB cake trade so poorly? I hardly see many people ISO for this as I do with regular Cakes. Same kinda goes with other BA Cakes. I see a lot more demand for reg cakes than any of the BA cakes. Is it the price tag that is holding this back from trading more frequently? What other BA stouts would be in same league as the BA cakes? Could a BA cake land a BA abraxis 1:1?

    I think this year's cake variants are not as highly regarded as last year's in terms of flavor at least that's my personal opinion. I absolutely love these beers though. I did trade it 1:1 with prop.

    VR adds to ANY BA Cake, and it's not a small plus either

    anyone know of any completed BA cake/VR trades that has successfully been completed in the past and what kind of + was added? Sorry for the questions, I'm just trying to gauge what exactly would make for a fair trade in case I decided to pull the trigger.

    I traded a DB cake for an Et Tu Brut, so maybe I lucked out.

    I traded a BVDL '12 for a BA Mexi Cake '14 set + a '14 Prop. The DB cake was so good I immediately swapped for another. This is better than the euro losing ground vs. the dollar.

    FWIW, I got my (newer) BA Cake set for my last ANTEAD set & Cherry Rye - in retrospect I gave up too much but hey, you want what you want

    I think your question need to be re-worded; it's not that DB Cake trade poorly, is that people who never had it has a poor pre-conceived value of DB Cake, because they "heard their buddies talking about 2014 Mexican Cakes are not as good as 2013 Cakes," which I'm not arguing the point; personally it's not a total win for '13 IMO.

    I have my cakes listed FT and probably get 2-3 offers a week; some decent and fair, but unfortunately not what I'm looking for, some pretty outrageously one-sided that I can't help but offer my helpful advice, and I do mean helpful and not 'd00d you are WAYYYY OFFFF. Go F urself'

    'FWIW,' Cake Trades I've done:
    DB+ :: HF Aaron+
    DB+ :: Leon b1+
    4Rose+DB+ :: Leon b2+Caffe Americano+
    DB :: '13 Prop
    4Rose+DB :: '14 Prop+VR+
    Cake set :: VSB+VSP+6 NG bottles

    So much this... The beers are great, and we are finally getting to the point where enough have been consumed, that they are getting harder to find, and that is helping the trade value.

    I just had both and I don't understand how someone could find regular Mexican cake the same (practically) as DB. /shrug\ Anyhow, both are mighty tasty. Not enough to move from Cali to SC, but tasty.

    DB cake was a huge let down for me. Last years cakes were some of my favorite beers I've had, and DB cake was the one I was most anticipating. I traded a LOT for two. Popped one and immediately traded the other

    Has anyone had either AB Cake or JD Cake recently? Wonder how they're holding up...

    I had AB Cake last summer, and it was already a sweet choco-bomb with zero heat, so...

    Had JD Cake about 3 months ago and it was friggin' amazing, still. I can't get over how much chili pepper is still present. It is easily my favorite of all the BA Cakes.

    If someone has DB Cake they don't want I'll gladly take more. I loved it. Way more cinnamon flavor than regular cake.
