As long as the beer still tastes good, who gives a crap.

The label doesn't matter when you POUR THE BEER INTO A TEKU or snifter.

It's the free market at work. They sell plenty of beer at a tidy profit with the current labels. Why would they even think of changing?

I love how you just told a bottle to go fuck itself! Awesome!

It's a moot point since the brewery burned down. (For old times sake.)

But really, since 3F can't brew enough beer to meet demand, why should they worry about using more expense labels and advertising?

I guess they are too busy brewing really good beer to give a shit about labeling. I've gotten plenty of seriously jacked up labels on sixers and, while it is a little annoying, it isn't that big of a deal.

I can't believe this is even a thread... After a six pack of zombie dust, my labels just dance off the bottle into the trash.. Oh wait, thats me discarding the empty in the garbage.. Nevermind. This is beeradvocate.com, not beerart.net

Damn, that must be why my local bottle shop never had FFF in stock! They must be returning them as defective merchandise!! I'm off to speak to the proprietor...

From a marketing stand point the label can sometime sell the beer more then what is inside to people who may not be looking up things on BA...when I first started buying craft beer lots of things where based off label alone. I sure 3f could give a fuck about any of that but saying labels don't matter is not true, if it was everyone would just be using sticky notes and brown bottles.

Yeah, and then he blames Bush.
    Anyway...
More Money spent on special labels for "Respect_The_Saa"=more expensive beer=price passed on to customers=

Just would be a vicious circle. Hey, maybe that's why they are $40 a case now!!!:angry::angry:

    Thanks a lot man...

When I started buying craft beer, I don't remember bombers. I remember imports (trappists and the like) in various sizes.

I would bet most customers would buy FFF by the six-pack before they would buy a bomber, IMO, if they're trying FFF for the first time. And the six-pack spares you the issue of seeing any mangled labels. A lot of mom and pop liquor stores that I frequent that happen to carry FFF usually don't carry bombers.

Personally, I tried FFF by the sixer first. The artwork on Gumballhead drew me in.

I actually prefer their bottles for hombrew because the labels are some of the easiest to remove.

i work in a factory that uses somewhat similar labels, im not sure how their labeling system works but i can tell you i label flat food products almost every day with an air powered labeling machine and its somewhat difficult to label something perfect. This has alot to do with the equipment they use

I believe FFF uses a cheap glue to attach their labels, which is actually great for home brewers as the labels peel right off in hot water.
