There's worse problems to have. :grinning:

SNPA is tasty, it's relatively cheap, and it's in pretty much every craft beer store (and even some of the more questionable beer stores I've been in). For the most part, all of SN's beers are solid to excellent.

The two breweries that I always circle back to between trying new stuff, that both have widely available offerings that are wonderful every single time and great seasonal or limited release beers, are Sierra Nevada and Odell. Just like I keep listening to the Beatles even though their music is decades old: the classics may be old, but they're classics for a reason.

Torpedo is one of my go-to's. Never disappoints.

This is what happens when you've beer geeked out hard for 5-10 years +. There are solid brews that really are not that far behind the hyped ones at reasonable prices. Sierra Nevada....I also salute you!

I was also thinking this today, recently got a divorce and I'm gonna have to watch my money and not buy multiple six packs of enjoy by and Ballast point for a bit..

The longer I drink craft beer the one thing I look for is balance. More so than a hop punch, or super crazy tropical notes etc.

Sn pale ale is really there. I like it better than torpedo IMHO. However, if celebration was fresh year round I would say it is better than pale ale. I can't wait til next nov. Cheers!

    SN/Grossman are brilliant-

Becoming oh so hard these days: staying relevant to the beer geeks, staying solid for the majority.

When avail, always room in my heart/fridge for Celebration, Bigfoot, and a SNPA or two.

Maybe it's because dispite the disadvantages of being inexpensive and easy to find, SNPA is still one of the best beers in the world!

I never think to buy SNPA but I'm always pleased to drink one.

Well actually it was a half case of Anchor Steam and a half case of Sierra Nevada- purchased in Phoenix.

SN just simply makes great beers at a great price. They're never really flashy, never the best for the style, it is available most places, hell most gas stations here. But everything I've tried has been better than just solid, they just make very good beers. Can't wait to see their facility in Asheville I heard it's quite nice.

If I could find it fresh, SN Stout is one of those beers I'd have available all the time; one of my all-time favorites.

Order a case? Helps get it fresh if you make that a condition of purchase.

I don't think that would work- it seems to be coming from the distributor in pretty old condition. There's a Bottle King near me that will have a stack of cases on the floor, and there's never any fresh ones in there.

Hmm. Works here. Got my beer guy who checks for freshness ( seen him refuse delivery on old or almost expired beer) and won't even order it for me unless he can get a fresh case.
